Intellectual property

During the last 25+ years we have gained a lot of experience in design management and leadership. This is what we are going to share. Just remember that the content we provide and the way to educate it, is our idea and we would like to keep it that way. The assignments that will be delivered are property of the students; make good use of them!

Content protection

We deliver this content to the student personally. This means that the content should not be copied and passed on to others. It is just there to apply it in the student’s daily work…

Confidentiality

We will share lots of great content, about the students’ and our experience; we will also create new content together. To guarantee an open atmosphere, we expect the student to treat this content confidential and adhere to their own organisational guidelines.

Access to the PARK Academy Livebook

Online programme access to content is granted throughout the training period and includes an additional 12 months after the final meeting is completed. Thereafter, participants access will expire and they will be offered extended access via a paid subscription model.

Absence

If, for whatever reason, participants

• Cannot make one of the educational meetings, we expect them to catch up. By reading through the module, study content and ask clarifying questions during coaching sessions.
• Cannot make one of the evaluation meetings, we expect them to prerecord their presentations to broadcast to the programme group during evaluation meetings.
• Is absent from more than one educational meeting, the student needs to continue in the next programme, to be able to finish the programme and earn their diploma.
• Is absent from more than one evaluation meeting, the student needs to continue in the next programme, to be able to finish the programme and earn their diploma.

Replacement

It is possible to send a replacement to take over the education programme. This option is available if the student has attended no more than 1 meeting. The replacement will then finish the entire remainder of the programme. You also need to ensure that the replacement has a similar profile as the student that is replaced. In any other case, PARK will not refund the fee for the programme.

Termination

We assume that nobody wants to voluntarily stop this programme. However, due to severe reasons, private or business, sometimes this is inevitable. If the student needs to stop right away, we suggest that the student continues and finishes the programme in the next available programme that we will run. This means that we will not refund the fee for the programme. To ensure a coherent learning experience we limit this opportunity only to the next programme.

Diploma

At the end of the programme we have a celebratory moment when we hand out the diplomas.

To obtain this, a few conditions apply:

• participants arrive on time, do the preparations, put in efforts and do their best, participate in discussions, attend all meetings (unless there are urgent reasons that are reported in time to the tutor)
• all assignments must be completed and uploaded to the Livebook.
• no refund will be given if the above cannot be met.

Pictures

We take lots of great pictures during programmes. We are happy to share these with you and the students, and we might use them for some of our marketing efforts.

Conflicts

We do not like conflicts. If issues arise, PARK will collaborate with the relevant stakeholders involved to resolve amicably and professionally to ensure a positive outcome.

Governing Law

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland.

Jurisdiction

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of Scotland shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction as any claims can be brought in the Scottish Courts to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this proposal or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
