Marjana Majeric, Executive Director Strategic Development & Internationalisation – GZS, said:

“Based on our experience with PARK in developing our organisation wide Chain of Sustainability Strategy framework, I strongly encourage Slovenian businesses to engage with the new initiative to help make the transitions required for CSRD compliance. We are committed to working with businesses to ensure that our climate, social and leadership ambitions are met while supporting sustainable and profitable businesses.”

Slovenian applications are now open for the programme commencing April 2024. Developed for the members in the GZS network as well as potential GZS members, who are actively working or anticipating to meet CSRD and ESG requirements, the programme is delivered over the next three years with each participating organization developing a Sustainability Strategic Roadmap and Implementation Plan using proprietary PARK Consulting tools.

Speaking at the launch of the initiative, Frans Joziasse, PARK programme lead said:

“Sustainability is a growing opportunity and performance indicator for companies and their leaders. Increasing regulation, customer demand and investor interest in ESG are great drivers to contribute to the needed change. With the GZS Chain of Sustainability, Slovenia should become a European benchmark.”
